Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Utah Special Education License/Certification required
• Experience teaching and supporting K-3 students with significant disabilities preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Compassionate, flexible, and patient approach to instruction and behavior management
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized lesson plans that foster growth in academic, social, and life skills for each student in your caseload
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to facilitate inclusion and ensure all needs are addressed
• Assess student abilities, monitor progress, and report outcomes in compliance with IEP goals and requirements
• Create an engaging, supportive classroom environment that maximizes learning, safety, and participation for every student
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as needed
