Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Utah Special Education License/Certification required
• Experience or strong interest in working with students needing life skills support
• Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, parents, and related service providers
• Commitment to a full academic year contract, beginning July 28, 2026, through May 26, 2027

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction to students in a K-3 Life Skills classroom
• Design and implement effective lesson plans tailored to each student’s IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support personnel to ensure inclusive practices
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with state and federal policies
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
