Fixed Facility Centrifuge Operator Lead

Position Overview HPC-Industrial is seeking a Fixed Facility Centrifuge Operator Lead in Norco, LA. In this role you will operate heavy equipment on site and unload waste from incoming trucks. Opportunities for growth and development throughout your career. Responsibilities Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and acting safely at all times. Complete daily checklist as required for proper operation of the unit being operated. Hands‑on experience operating decanter centrifuges, belt presses, filter press and ancillary equipment (pumps, conveyors, etc.). Operate special equipment such as centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. Operate 5K hotsy pressure washers. Assure unit is never operated in an unsafe manner or in a manner inconsistent with Standard Operating Procedures. Complete and submit all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements. Ensure that all containers are properly secured (i.e., chock blocks, jack stands). Perform other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and as required by Clean Harbors. Qualifications Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on‑the‑job training, and essential experience gained on other jobs. Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations. Valid driver license and other requirements of the company’s driving policy when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business. Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers. May have to provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC). 10+ years of centrifuge operating experience; Thermal Desorption Unit (TDU) operating experience.
