Travel Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active California state license or ability to obtain an active California license prior to the assignment start.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dysphagia management and instrumental assessments such as FEES or MBSS preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation preferred.
• Previous travel or contract SLP experience preferred.

• Shift hours: AM 8.
• Shift pattern: 5x8.
• Assignment location: Skilled nursing facility in Santa Monica, CA.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide skilled SLP services that improve communication, cognition, and swallowing outcomes for residents in a skilled nursing environment. Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and ancillary staff to support discharge planning and continuity of care. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility and regulatory reporting requirements.
