Speech Language Pathologist
AB Staffing is looking for experienced, regional Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) for the 2025/2026 school year.
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Description:
- Openings in Elementary, Middle, and High School
- Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location
- Contract through the 2025/2026 school year 37.5 to 40 hours per week
- Contract follows the academic district calendar
Pay:
- $2,437-2,812 per week DOE
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or similar program.
- National and state certifications: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, State Speech Language Pathologist Certificate, and State License from the Department of Health Services with teaching credential.
- Valid Certificate of Clearance (COC) from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
- Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
- Experience in a school and/or pediatric setting preferred.
- Reliable transportation for regional travel.
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Position Overview:
Provide speech and language therapy services across the region of Orange, Buena Park, and Chino Hills, to help students improve communication and learning skills.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services across assigned schools/facilities.
- Collaborate with administrators, teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Supervise or mentor CFs, SLPAs, and support staff as needed.
- Ensure compliance with documentation, billing, and professional standards.
- Travel between sites within the assigned region
