Licensed Nail Technician

Job Summary

The Licensed Nail Technician is responsible for providing exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, and nail art, while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and client care. This individual will create a relaxing and welcoming environment where clients can unwind while receiving personalized services tailored to their needs. The Nail Technician will also educate clients on proper nail care, recommend appropriate products and treatments, and contribute to an outstanding client experience that reflects our commitment to quality, professionalism, and exceptional service. Availability to work Saturdays is required for this position.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform manicures and pedicures, including nail trimming, shaping, cuticle grooming, buffing and polishing.
• Apply building gel or other nail enhancements as requested.
• Offer luxury hand and foot massages as part of treatment services.
• Create custom nail art and designs based on client's requests and offer suggestions based on current trends.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and tools, following state and local health and safety guidelines.
• Advise clients on proper nail care and suggest products for home use.
• Keep up with nail trends, techniques and product knowledge.
• Build strong relationships with clients to create a following.
• Suggest other Spa services and products to clients to increase the business of the Spa.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Spa, including common areas, back rooms, and laundry when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Alabama State Nail Technician or Cosmetology License.
• Certification in advanced nail techniques preferred.
