About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead the organization and advance its mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's publications, conferences, and professional development programs. This role involves serving as the chief staff officer, with a focus on staff management, partnership development, and financial oversight, including a significant annual operating budget. The ideal Executive Director will have a strong background in scientific society or association management, with a proven track record in revenue growth, fiscal management, and building strategic partnerships. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a minimum of 5-10 years' of senior leadership experience in a relevant field. A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for candidates holding an advanced degree and a CAE credential. The role is fully remote, with the expectation of regular travel to board and strategy meetings, including occasional international travel. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors and the Board President, and must be prepared to take on the responsibilities of the position with energy and dedication.
