About the Role:

Mareleng Inc of Fort Lauderdale, as a Warehouse Manager, where you'll lead our dedicated team in ensuring efficient operations and exceptional service. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in our marine business here in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Manage inventory control, including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.
• Responsible for procurement of materials for projects and warehouse stock
• Responsible of customer sales of products
• Sourcing of suppliers and ensuring best pricing
• Lead and train warehouse staff, promoting a positive work environment.
• Implement and maintain best practices for warehouse organization and cleanliness.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving schedules to meet customer demands.
• Monitor and report on key performance metrics to improve warehouse efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
• Manage our overseas warehouse.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
• Proven experience in procurement
• Proven experience of managing sales
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse management systems. Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehousing.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment. Lift material up to 25lbs occasionally.
• To be flexible around working additional hours to meet operational requirements.
• Work with Project Managers to provide costs and lead times on material quotations
• Be able to work and manage our overseas warehouse
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Tracking of test equipment, tools and materials
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, invoices and any necessary export documentation.
• Monitor inventory, manage stock accordingly.
• Strong ability to follow oral and written instructions

Experience:

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehouse managerial role, with shipping logistics experience

· Familiarity with domestic and international shipping regulations, carriers and logistics, customs, duty / tariffs, HS Codes

· Inventory control

- Minimum 3 years experience of procurement / sales

Education:

· High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
