General Production Worker

The General Production Worker will be responsible for reading and following steps from Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), performing the outlined tasks, and documenting their completion in a wet and indoor climate-controlled washroom environment. Ideal candidates have experience from pharmaceutical, medical device, or food manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment.
• Perform basic assembly and disassembly tasks.
• Maintain logs and perform basic data entry.
• Conduct housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Follow SOPs and instructions precisely.

Essential Skills

• Experience in following step-by-step written instructions (SOPs).
• Ability to write legibly and document information accurately.
• Basic math skills for logging time and calculating task durations.
• Capability to work weekends as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Washroom experience, such as with dishwashing or sterile equipment handling.
• Familiarity with ALCOA documentation compliance.
• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) experience.
• Attention to detail is crucial.

Work Environment

The position operates on a 2nd shift at the Josephine plant, with potential backfill on the 1st shift from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, including weekends as needed. The role requires flexibility to work between locations, with a 15-minute commute between plants. The work setting is a climate-controlled, cleanroom/sterile environment.

This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
