Endocrinologist

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring an Endocrinologist for a temporary assignment in Rochester, NY. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for an Endocrinologist:

Provide outpatient care with a focus on diabetes management
Perform CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) analysis and insulin pump management as applicable
See approximately 20-25 patients per day across 15 exam rooms
Utilize EPIC electronic health record system and AI ambient scribe for documentation
Work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm (8-9 hour shifts)
Float to sister or affiliate locations 1-2 days per week as needed
Maintain valid New York State license
Maintain current AHA or RQI life-saving certifications
Must be Board Certified (Residents and Fellows are not accepted)
Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience
Adhere to dress code requirements (scrubs or business attire)
Follow call-in policy by contacting the practice manager directly
Ensure work history is current with no gaps of 30 or more days
Provide a physician statement if any malpractice history exists, whether dismissed or not
Complete all required compliance and credentialing documentation prior to start
