Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, using comprehensive assessments as the foundation.

• Provide therapeutic interventions across various formats, including individual counseling, couples and family therapy, and group sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Conduct initial assessments and follow-up evaluations to monitor client progress and adapt treatment strategies accordingly.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients, guiding them through complex emotional and psychological challenges.

• Maintain accurate clinical records that comply with state laws and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in all practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Samaritan Behavioral Health, you will primarily work with clients who are facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and interpersonal conflicts. Our clients include individuals from diverse backgrounds, including couples, families, and groups. You will play a key role in helping them navigate these challenges through tailored support and therapeutic resources.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Knowledge of legal requirements and ethical standards governing counseling practices.
