- # Patient Care Tech, Full Time, Intermediate Care/Stepdown Unit - NightsApplyremote type: On-Sitelocations: Sentara Careplex Hospitaltime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR-99957**City/State**Hampton, VA**Work Shift**Third (Nights)**Overview:**# **Sentara Careplex Hospital Hospital is hiring a Full-time Patient Care Tech****Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Medicine Unit****Sentara Careplex Hospital - Hampton, VA****~Night shift****7:00 pm-7:00 am****Rotating weekends****36 hours/week****Overview**The Patient Care Technician provides patient care, support independent and dependent activities of daily living, vital signs, mobility and ambulation, phlebotomy, point of care testing, EKG testing, peripheral IV removal, specimen collection, and foley catheter insertion and removal, and comply with patient safety practices under the direction of the professional RN nurse.
