Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Traveling Physical Therapist Opportunity

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
• Prior experience evaluating and treating geriatric patients, post-acute care, and restorative programs preferred.
• Documentation proficiency with electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to provide patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions independently.

San Antonio International Airport lies about 10 miles northeast of downtown, offering regional and national flights for easy travel. The city supports a suburban-to-urban lifestyle with major medical centers, cultural districts such as the Pearl District and museums along Museum Reach, and sports and entertainment at the AT&T Center, all within typical 1020 minute commutes depending on neighborhood choice.
