We are currently hiring experienced Forklift Operators with strong inventory control skills to join our team in Richmond, VA. Position Overview

As a Forklift Operator / Inventory Clerk , you will play a dual role supporting both material handling and inventory accuracy. This position requires safe operation of warehouse equipment along with strong computer proficiency to track, manage, and verify inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS).

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation

• Operate cherry picker/order picker, reach truck, and double electric pallet jacks (EPJ) safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks in a timely manner
• Transport and stage materials throughout the warehouse

Inventory & Systems

• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
• Track and update inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials

General Warehouse Duties

• Pick and stage orders accurately using RF scanners or pick tickets
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company policies and safety standards

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating cherry picker/order picker, reach truck, or EPJ (at least one required)
• Previous inventory control, inventory clerk, or WMS experience strongly preferred
• Strong computer skills (RF scanners, inventory systems, or basic data entry)
• OSHA forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet during shifts
• High attention to detail, especially with inventory accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance

Shift Availability

• 1st Shift (Day)
• 2nd Shift (Afternoon/Evening)
• Overtime available based on business needs
