Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a high-risk unit requiring NY licensure, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.

Details

• High-risk labor and delivery unit setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Alternating days of the week with possible weekend requirements based on unit staffing needs

Requirements

• Active NY State RN license required
• NRP certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required (Advanced EFM not accepted)
• NCC C-EFM certification required within one year of first assignment with Northwell
• 3+ years of current labor & delivery experience required
• 2+ years of high-risk OB experience required, or OR circulating, C-sections, and PACU/recovery room experience
• OB triage experience preferred
• Two professional references from previous managers in current discipline/specialty required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a high-risk labor and delivery setting
• Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience qualifications
• Prior Northwell/Nuvance Health employees subject to an eligibility review process before being considered for return
