Position: Painter
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Shift: To be discussed
Location: Cameron, TX
- Mix paints and primers accurately
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain attention to detail throughout tasks
- Operate a tape measure and perform preventive maintenance on equipment
- Identify and match colors for quality finishes
- Conduct quality control inspections
- Recognize different core (wood) materials
- Complete respiratory tests and wear masks for extended periods
- Work safely in high-temperature environments (100-120°F)
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear PPE as required
- Read and interpret job tickets in English
- Install, stage, and move materials efficiently on the assembly line
- Support high-temperature and demanding work conditions
- Minimum 1 year of paint experience (industrial, manufacturing, or auto body preferred)
- Experience with blueprint reading
- Ability to read job tickets in English
- Mechanically inclined with skills in using a tape measure
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Positive attitude and reliable transportation
- Ability to work well with others or independently
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Pass respiratory testing and screenings
- Paint and primer mixing
- Blueprint reading
- Equipment and preventive maintenance
- Color matching and quality checks
- Material installation and staging
- Working safely at high temperatures
- Following safety procedures and PPE guidelines
