Position Technician, HydroVac Location La Porte, TX Job Id 319 # of Openings 25 We are looking for a dedicated Hydrovac Technician to join our growing team. This role involves working in hydro excavation to support safe, efficient, and high‑quality operations. Key Responsibilities Assist in Hydro Excavation Operations: Support the operator in using high‑pressure water and vacuum systems to expose underground utilities safely. Set Up and Secure Job Sites: Prepare work areas, set up safety barriers, and ensure all necessary equipment is in place. Support Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning. Comply with Safety Regulations: Follow all company and site‑specific safety regulations, including PPE usage, and attend regular safety meetings. Handle Materials Responsibly: Assist in the proper handling, collection, and disposal of debris in compliance with environmental standards. Work as a Team Player: Communicate effectively with the operator and crew to ensure smooth project execution. What You Bring to the Team Proven experience in hydro excavation, construction, labor, or industrial work. Physical Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in various environments. Strong Commitment to Safety and compliance with regulations. Ability to Pass criminal and MVR background checks as well as a drug screen. MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OVERTIME, NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS. ALSO WILLING TO TRAVEL/WORK OUT OF TOWN. Work Environment The position involves lifting (up to 50–75 pounds), pushing, pulling, and bending (the level of physical effort may vary from site to site). Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, and exposure to toxic chemicals rarely. Required to be exposed to physical environments that involve dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.
