Senior Accountant

Robert Half is partnering with a stable and growing real estate organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio of properties while working closely with operational leadership and fellow accounting professionals in a collaborative environment.
What You Will Do
- Manage the monthly financial close process for a portfolio of properties
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Analyze financial statements and investigate variances
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain balance sheet accounts
- Assist with cash management activities
- Partner with operational leaders to support financial decision-making
- Prepare reporting packages and support month-end and year-end processes
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
- 2+ years of accounting experience required
- Experience with month-end close responsibilities
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting principles
- Financial statement preparation and analysis experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience supporting multiple entities, locations, or business units is highly preferred
- Real estate or property management accounting experience is a plus but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary between $65,000 - $75,000
