Immediate Hire - Music Directors – VTC Summer 2026 Programs Vanguard Theater Company Summerstock Montclair, NJ USA Contact Justin Comini Overview Vanguard Theater Company is seeking Music Directors for our Summerstock sleepaway program. We’re looking for collaborative, energetic, and community-minded artists who are passionate about working with young performers in fast‑paced musical theater environments. Program Details Location: Elmer, NJ Dates: July 30 - August 17, 2026 Compensation: $2000 Ages: 12-19 (Housing & meals provided – residential program) Shows available: We Are The Tigers, Spelling Bee, Spring Awakening This position takes place at a sleepaway camp serving campers ages 12–19. Music Directors live on-site for the full duration of the program and should be excited by a fully immersive, fast‑paced, and intensive camp‑based theater experience. Full availability for the entire program is required.
