Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced, friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk. This role will include data entry, schedule balancing, accounts receivable and payable, and assists in quality control for our document retention program.
Key Responsibilities:
Reconcile daily transactions to funds collected, collaborating with other depts to ensure charges are correct and authorized
Balance and maintain accounting schedules
Maintain Accounts Receivable statuses, issuing monthly statements and processing payments
Complete accounting entries in the system and assist with other clerical tasks
Auditing electronic documents for accuracy to meet our retention parameters
Requirements:
Critical thinking skills to investigate accounting tracking
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Advanced computer proficiency (Excel, Outlook, etc)
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in automotive accounting (especially utilizing Reynolds & Reynolds) is preferred.
