Construction Superintendent

Our client is a vertically integrated construction, property management, and development organization focused on building and managing multifamily housing communities across the Midwest. They are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee projects in the Cheyenne, Wyoming area.

This person will be responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities, supervising teams and subcontractors, monitoring budgets and timelines, and ensuring projects meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, architects, and other project partners
• Plan construction processes and establish project goals and deadlines
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and overall progress
• Supervise construction staff and provide guidance and feedback
• Coordinate inspections and construction permits
• Ensure quality, health, and safety standards are followed on-site
• Order equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed
• Track materials, inventory, and orders
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues and emergencies
• Provide regular updates on project progress

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar construction leadership role
• Strong understanding of construction operations and processes
• Knowledge of local construction safety, health, and quality requirements
• Familiarity with CAD software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to lead teams and work effectively with contractors and project partners
• Currently located in or willing to relocate to the Cheyenne, WY area
