You will collaborate directly with a senior supervisor while providing critical support to a dynamic technical team. location: North Chicago, Illinois job type: Contract salary: $25.00 - 29.94 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors Responsibilities Perform routine and non‑routine analytical testing, formulation work, and bioanalytical assays (SEC, CEX, HIC, RP‑HPLC). Utilize particle testing techniques, UV/IR/Fluorescence spectroscopy, pH measurement, Karl Fisher, and viscosity evaluations. Operate HPLC instrumentation using Empower software to capture, analyze, and interpret consistent analytical data. Maintain complete and compliant documentation of experiments using an Electronic Lab Notebook (eLN). Support daily lab maintenance, standard safety practices, and strict adherence to cGMP regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Troubleshoot experimental setups, laboratory equipment, and instrumentation as needed. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline. Proven hands‑on HPLC experience and general laboratory skills (pipetting, weighing, solution preparation). Professional background in the pharmaceutical industry or a GLP laboratory environment. Knowledge of bioanalytical testing methods. Preferred Familiarity with Empower software.
