About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to ensure the efficient execution of the CEO's vision and oversee daily operations across key departments and major initiatives. The COO will be responsible for the administrative and operational management of various programs, including medical and clinical services, education and training services, and facilities management. This role involves leading major strategic projects, directing staffing and training initiatives, and working closely with leadership to optimize care delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and improve operational efficiency. The successful candidate will also be tasked with driving process improvements, infrastructure development, and interdisciplinary collaboration to uphold the highest standards of care and service. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a Master’s degree (preferred) in business or healthcare administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years of operations management experience. Executive experience with the IDD population, OPWDD, and a strong understanding of Article 28 is essential. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The COO will be expected to have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with effective organizational and time management skills. The position also demands a candidate who can demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity, and who is flexible in adapting to changing priorities and demands.
