Product Demonstrator Part Time

DESCRIPTION The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers and demonstrating products professionally, and maintaining a professional appearance consistent with job requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES Possesses the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented. Has desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner. Effectively communicates the features and benefits of the product. Prepares and serves food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives. Maintains a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Maintains professional appearance consistent with job requirements. Properly sets up and prepares the event table for execution. Achieves 100 % execution on assigned work. Assists with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections. Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives. Completes expense reports as per Company Policy. Accurately prepares and submits all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Accesses the internet, navigates company systems, uses Microsoft Outlook, and views assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms. This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may change the role based on business and client needs. QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: Proficient in using and navigating a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handler permit may be required. Physical Demands: The associate will regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach up to 65 inches overhead, talk, hear, read, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a fully laden demonstration cart, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances such as cooking utensils, knives, convection oven, coffee maker, electric fryer, and microwaves, and be in contact with cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment: Retail store environment, with limited travel. Physical Appearance: Must ensure a professional appearance and proper grooming. Associates must present a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance. Retailer dress‑code requirements are in training documents. Language Skills: English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
