Instructor/Assistant Professor of Psychology (1-Year Limited)

Rhode Island College invites applications for a full-time, 1-Year Instructor/Assistant Professor of Psychology. The successful candidate will teach foundational psychology courses, including introductory psychology, research methods, social psychology, human development, and/or child psychology, while maintaining an active research agenda and supervising student research. Additional responsibilities include academic advising and participation in departmental, college, and professional service activities. The department seeks a collaborative educator with college-level teaching and research experience who is committed to supporting students. Required Qualifications Master’s in psychology. College teaching experience in the areas to be taught is essential, and research experience in psychology. Preferred Qualifications: PH.D in Psychology. Ability to teach a range of foundational courses such as introductory psychology, research methods, social psychology, human development, and child psychology.
