Medical Receptionist OpportunityCenterWell is looking for dedicated, compassionate, and experienced candidates with Medical Receptionist experience who want to grow with the company and being a part of something great!Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care West Vine office address: 3185 W Vine Street; Kissimmee, FL 34741Medical Receptionist Role OverviewThe Medical Receptionist operates a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintains long distance call logs. Take and distribute accurate messages. Greet visitors and determine the nature of their visit, issues visitor passes and maintain visitor logs, alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival or directs visitors to appropriate office, department or employee. Respond to routine inquiries from internal or external sources such as our location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and email address. Additional responsibilities may include miscellaneous administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages. Limit decisions to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and work under close management or within established practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.Required QualificationsExperience in a fast pace/high volume environmentMinimum of 1-year professional experience as a Medical Receptionist in 'front-office' direct patient care contactExperience with MS OutlookBasic Computer knowledgeExperience with HEDISBilingual (English/Spanish)Must be a team player with excellent communication skillsWillingness to learn and be cross trained in other roles based on business needPreferred QualificationExperience with Electronic Medical RecordsPrevious experience in a geriatric settingExcellent Customer Service SkillEmpathyMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving patient experiences and careMedical Receptionist Working hours:Scheduled 40 hours per weekMonday to Friday 8AM-5PMLocal travel may be required; Mileage is reimbursedAlert: Humana values personal identity protection.
