Senior Operating Room Assistant

Senior Operating Room Assistant – Providence Portland Medical Center FTE: 0.01 Full Time Day. Variable days, evenings 8, 10, 12 hr shifts, max 40 hrs/week. Responsibilities:

• Retrieve and assemble supplies and equipment for each surgery procedure.
• Monitor instrument and supply levels in sterile supply areas.
• Coordinate supply location in sterile area and collaborate with materials management to address shortages.
• Assist in cleaning and preparing operating rooms, safely transporting patients, retrieving and decontaminating instrumentation, and delivering equipment.
• Process and maintain equipment and instruments, and may assist with opening supplies before surgery.

Qualifications National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (required upon hire) Minimum 2 years of experience in the Operating Room Salary: $21.16 - $32.37 per hour. Additional compensation may be available via shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
