Radiologic Technologist – Radiology

Requirements:

• Graduate of an American Medical Association-approved school of radiologic technology.
• Registered in at least radiography.
• Additional certification in computed tomography is highly preferred.
• Training and/or experience specific to radiology practices regarding neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Familiarity with computer applications required; Meditech Health Information System is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate a Computerized Tomographic scanner to image various body parts including the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and the Director of Radiology to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, co-workers, and healthcare practitioners.
• Exhibit flexibility to adapt to changes and cross-train in additional imaging modalities.
• Uphold the integrity and quality of care in accordance with established standards.
