Inpatient Coder

To maintain coding accuracy and data integrity, the full-time remote Inpatient Corporate Coder will be responsible for coding and abstracting clinical information from medical records, conducting quality reviews, and assisting in training new coders. Key responsibilities Accurately and productively code/abstract patient health documentation for assigned facilities Review flagged cases for coding accuracy and assist in coding quality audits Participate in coding education and maintain professional coding credentials Required qualifications High school graduate or equivalent 1-3 years of inpatient coding experience Proficient in MS Office suite Strong technical background with electronic medical record experience Completion of at least one AHIMA certified program with the corresponding professional credential preferred
