- Manage and litigate cases involving bad faith claims against insurance companies, ensuring thorough investigation and strategic case development
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other legal documents with precision and clarity
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients while maintaining professional integrity
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and administrative hearings related to insurance disputes
- Admission to the state bar in Colorado and active legal license
- Experience handling insurance law cases with a focus on bad faith litigation.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully resolving complex disputes outside of court when appropriate
- Excellent writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and persuasive arguments
- Previous experience as a public defender or work in a government prosecutor’s office. (highly valued but not required).
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Spanish (Preferred but not required).
