Location: Englewood, Colorado (In-Office | Hybrid Opportunity After 6 Months)

Salary: Starting at $145,000/year, could be higher depending on experience

What You'll Do

As an Of Counsel Attorney, you will independently manage litigation matters from inception through resolution while collaborating closely with attorneys, staff, and clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Handle cases from initial evaluation through trial or resolution
• Develop litigation strategy and manage case deadlines
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Communicate regularly with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and the courts
• Manage discovery, expert witnesses, and case preparation
• Maintain accurate billing records, including compliance with task-based billing requirements
• Deliver exceptional client service while producing high-quality legal work

Qualifications

We're looking for an attorney who possesses:

• Prior trial experience
• Proven ability to independently manage cases from start to finish
• Experience with task-based billing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong legal research, writing, and drafting abilities
• Active Colorado Bar license (or ability to become licensed if applicable)

Attorney Bonus Program

Attorneys are eligible to participate in the firm's bonus program, which is based on fees actually collected for billable hours generated during the annual evaluation period 

Work Schedule

• Office Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Most attorneys work approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Initial six months: In-office
• Hybrid work arrangement may be considered after successful onboarding and integration
