Key Qualifications:

• Active, current CDE School Psychologist license (required)
• Prior professional experience working as a school psychologist
• In-depth knowledge of special education law, multi-tiered systems of support, and crisis intervention
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Compassion, flexibility, and commitment to fostering student development

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments across elementary age groups
• Deliver individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional learning
• Provide ongoing consultation and support to teachers, parents, and staff regarding behavioral, academic, and mental health needs
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) through multi-disciplinary team meetings
• Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts campus-wide
• Participate in school-wide initiatives, interventions, and continuous improvement processes
