Job Description
Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Schedule

Rotating positions with shifts assigned based on organizational needs. Day shifts are 3x12-hour (07:00 - 19:30) and night shifts are 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend is required.

Assignment Details

36 hours per week contract length, with the requirement to float within the facility.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• MUST be able to pass the Telemetry test
• Experience monitoring Telemetry patients preferred
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
• Epic experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit
• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry readings
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about post-discharge care
