Data Analyst

Salary: $78,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• 3–6 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and SQL-based reporting, including complex queries, joins across multiple tables, CTEs, subqueries, aggregations, CASE statements, window functions, filtering, and data transformations.
• Strong experience developing reports and dashboards in Tableau.
• Experience analyzing and translating existing reporting requirements into Tableau.
• Experience troubleshooting and validating reporting data.
• Ability to work independently on reporting requirements and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Preferred: Experience migrating Crystal Reports to Tableau and hands-on experience with Crystal Reports.
• Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Forms and form-based booking or workflows, Power Automate, or SharePoint.
• Healthcare or hospital reporting experience, or familiarity with healthcare data or credentialing systems, is a plus but is not required.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance reports using SQL and Tableau.
• Support migration of existing reports from Crystal Reports to Tableau.
• Review Crystal Reports to understand their business logic, calculations, data sources, and SQL queries.
• Recreate and improve reports and reporting functionality in Tableau.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, calculated fields, data transformations, filtering, and business logic.
• Validate data between legacy Crystal Reports and newly developed Tableau reports.
• Troubleshoot reporting discrepancies and identify underlying data or query issues.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into SQL queries, reports, and Tableau dashboards.
• Respond to ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests.
• Maintain SQL-based reporting solutions and improve reports for usability, accuracy, performance, and consistency.
• Document reporting logic, SQL queries, data sources, and report specifications as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on ongoing reporting and business intelligence initiatives.
