This role is pivotal in supporting daily production activities, troubleshooting issues, boosting production capacity, spearheading lean manufacturing efforts, and developing work instructions to ensure operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Research andDevelopment team to facilitate the successful launch of new products.
- Optimize and continuously improvemanufacturing equipment and processes to enhance efficiency.
- Develop, update, and trainproduction staff on Work Instructions adhering to Good ManufacturingPractices (GMPs).
- Serve as a subject matter expertin softgel manufacturing, providing ongoing support to streamlineproduction processes.
- Participate in Corrective andPreventive Actions (CAPA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Kaizen events, and5S initiatives.
- Drive lean manufacturingstrategies to explore cost-effective solutions and minimize operationalcosts.
- Implement continuous improvementprojects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to increaseproductivity, reduce waste, and elevate product quality.
- Apply statistical analysis tooptimize the encapsulation production line for improved efficiency andquality.
- Oversee capital projects,including equipment upgrades and new installations, performingInstallation, Operational, and Performance Qualifications (IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Ensure compliance with health,safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining industry-standardprocesses.
- Stay informed about advancementsin manufacturing technologies and propose upgrades to keep operationscutting-edge.
- Perform additional duties asrequired.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in ChemicalEngineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or FoodEngineering. Lean Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is mandatory.
- Experience : Minimum of 7 years inproduction and manufacturing engineering, with specific expertise insoftgel encapsulation. Proven experience in project management,cost-saving initiatives, and continuous improvement is essential.
- Skills : Proficiency in GMPs, stronganalytical and statistical skills, and the ability to manage capitalprojects. Candidates should be positive, innovative, detail-oriented,enthusiastic, friendly, proactive, organized, and reliable.
- Technical Skills : Competency in relevant computerapplications is required.
