Cheese, and Peter Piper Pizza, is seeking an Intern for the Fall semester in our Marketing Department to support the Brand team.This is a paid internship that will provide you an opportunity for professional growth and development. This program will not qualify for college credit (exceptions may apply). This exciting opportunity will be based at our Corporate Support Center in Irving, TX and requires 40 hours a week, with work hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This will be a hybrid work arrangement of mostly in-person/on-site work and some remote/WFH.You will have the opportunity to learn:Marketing Campaign Production ProcessesContent Calendar ManagementCreative Brief WritingEmail MarketingProject ManagementWebsite Content & Local Listings ManagementMarketing systems and software (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office/Teams, MoEngage, OneDrive, Punchh, Rio, Smartsheets, WordPress and more)Applicable majors/interests:Advertising, Business, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or relevant fieldGeneral responsibilities may include (but not limited to):Supporting the Brand Marketing team on both creative and digital projectsAssisting with email marketing campaignsConducting research on competitor promotions, pricing and creativeDrafting blogs and website content for search engine optimizationManaging marketing projects and updating status documentsReviewing and summarizing offer and campaign performanceUpdating websites and online ordering channels with refreshed copy, images and contentWriting and submitting creative brief requests for marketing campaignsAdministrative tasks as neededYou should be:Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher at an accredited college or universityPossess great communication skills, and be proactive and eager to learnHave a passion for Advertising and marketingPhysical Demands:To perform the duties of this position, the incumbent must have the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, and carry, lift, pull, push between 1 – 25 lbs. Incumbent must use a computer, with the repetitive movement of both hands. Incumbent must be able to work an 8-hour shift, with some overtime.
