Apply today!**About the role**The CDL Driver II is responsible for transporting both hazardous and non-hazardous waste between company facilities and customer sites. This position primarily involves operating manual transmission vehicles, including roll off trucks as the main equipment, along with van trailers and box trucks. This is a local, home daily driving role. **Responsibilities*** Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards while meeting scheduled delivery and pickup times* Load, transport, and unload materials using specialized equipment including vacuum systems and pumping units* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operating conditions* Complete required documentation such as manifests, bills of lading, logs, inspection reports, and delivery receipts* Ensure proper placarding and labeling of vehicles in accordance with DOT requirements* Maintain clear communication with dispatch, customers, and internal teams regarding delivery status, instructions, and delays* Follow established routes and directions while adapting to changing conditions as needed* Maintain a strong focus on safety for employees, customers, and the general public* Perform additional duties as assigned **Qualifications*** Must be 21 years of age or older* Valid CDL Class A* CDL Class B may be considered only for candidates with heavy, verifiable roll off experience, as roll off operation is the primary duty.* Tanker endorsement required* Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience, including tanker experience* Acceptable driving record* Ability to work regional routes or home daily schedules **Preferred Qualifications*** High School Diploma or GED* Hazmat endorsement **Physical Demands*** Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb for extended periods* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs* Ability to push, pull, reach, and grip as required for equipment operation* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces* Ability to work in varying weather conditions* Required visual and hearing capabilities to safely operate equipment **Benefits*** Competitive pay* Medical, dental, and vision coverage* 401k with company match* Paid time off and holidays* Ongoing training and development opportunitiesAll Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.Please note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.**Pay Transparency** Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages.
