Position Part-Time Licensed Optician – Requisition ID: 928454 – Store #000108 LensCrafters Responsibilities Welcome all customers, set expectations Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses Act as a leader in optical acumen Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions Accurately and thoroughly use technology under time pressure and customer volume, demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and use appropriate tools Proactive: explore root cause of issues, forward thinking; ensure customers are satisfied and expectations exceeded; solution driven Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies Take pride in store appearance; help keep store clean, attractive, and organized Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices Be resourceful, self‑motivated, and committed to continual learning, improvement, and results Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management Basic Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent State licensure Optical dispensing experience Strong customer service skills; communicator, listener, and team builder Knowledge of current store merchandise Strong basic math skills Awareness of current fashion trends Sales skills: ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators Embrace new technology and change Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service and retail experience Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $25.02 - $39.02 per hour Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
