We're seeking a Service Lube Technician who has excellent customer service skills, takes pride in their work, and enjoys working on a team. Our dealership makes customer service a top priority so candidates must have a strong attention to detail and maintain a professional appearance.
Responsibilities:
- Familiarizing yourself with the service department and procedures
- Perform basic maintenance on vehicles (oil changes, tire rotations, wiper blade and filter replacement)
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to learn new technology and have basic computer skills
- Repair and service procedures and specifications
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Must possess basic hand tools to perform duties listed
- Must pass a strength and physical ability test
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Understanding of safety policies and practices
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply
- Have a valid Iowa Driver's License and clean driving record
- Will submit to a drug and background screening prior to employment
