Forklift Operator

Palmer Logistics is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our team. This role is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and staging products while supporting daily warehouse operations.

Pay Rate:

$20.00 - $22.00/hour (based on experience and equipment knowledge)

Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down forklift, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.
• Load, unload, stage, and prepare product for shipping.
• Label, band, stretch wrap, and inspect shipments.
• Verify shipments for accuracy, document and report any discrepancies.
• Use RF scanners and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Follow established company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with warehouse and office personnel to meet productivity goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Perform daily equipment inspections.
• Assist in additional duties including cleaning drums/totes, and restacking materials

Qualifications:

• 2 -3 years of forklift experience in a logistics environment.
• Experience working with slip sheets.
• 2-3 years handing hazardous materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties (push, pull, stoop, squat, and walk extended periods)
• Flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed.
• Experience working in congested area(s) and non-climate-controlled warehouses.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
