Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Henderson, NV to join their civil litigation defense team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong research and writing skills, a passion for advocacy, and outstanding interpersonal abilities. This position offers hybrid work flexibility and a collegial environment. Duties Coordinate with clients and co-counsel during all phases of discovery. Manage all facets of cases from discovery through trial. Organize and maintain case files; coordinate with secretaries and other staff. Review and analyze discovery requests and prepare responses. Supervise document reviews with the legal team, clients, and vendors. Assist with document reviews for responsiveness and privilege. Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial. Prepare standard court filings. Keep accurate time records for client fees. Requirements Juris Doctor Degree. Active license and good standing with the State Bar of California. (Dual license with Nevada preferred.) Strong, concise communication and writing skills. Experience in taking and defending depositions. Experience in reporting to insurance carriers (preferred). Experience in preparing, drafting, and arguing demurrers, motions to strike, and motions for summary adjudication/judgment (preferred). Familiarity with written and oral discovery is required. Education Juris Doctor Degree. Certifications Active State Bar of California license. Skills Strong research and writing skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
