Surgical Services - Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)

2nd Shift (3p-11:30p), Monday through Friday and occasional scheduled Holidays We are seeking candidates who are experienced with all areas of the department, which include: • Decontamination of all items (Drills, Davinci, scopes) • Assembly of all instruments in all service lines (Trauma, loaners, peel packaging included) • Sterilization process (sterrad and steam) • HLD/ Scope experience • Sterile Storage • OR Liaison experience • Censitrac Tracking system experience CRCST or CSPDT required EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: CORE TECH, CUSTOMER SERVICE, OR LIAISON OSU is a Level One trauma facility that is extremely busy and requires experienced Travelers who have worked in a facility similar to OSU. (return travelers are considered to be any clinician that has taken an assignment at ANY location & is re-applying anywhere within the OSU umbrella) - Travelers who reach the one-year max contract limit are not eligible for extensions or future assignments. - Candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of the care site address are not eligible. Current contractors who are already within the 50-mile radius may complete their existing contract and extend up to the one-year maximum contract limit.
