Instrumentation Coordinator – Sterile ProcessingSchedule3rd shift — Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with occasional scheduled holidays.Assignment DetailsThis is an enterprise-wide role within a healthcare facility.RequirementsMinimum 3+ years of sterile processing experience in a high-volume hospital environment.Experience in a Trauma Level II facility is required; Trauma Level I experience is preferred.Certifications: CBSPD or CRCST (HSPA/formerly IAHCSMM accepted).Experience with sterilization processes, including STERRAD and steam.Knowledge of high-level disinfection and scope reprocessing.Familiarity with instrument tracking systems (e.g., Censitrac).Charting experience with Epic is preferred.ResponsibilitiesDecontamination and manual cleaning of instruments and equipment.Assembly and standardization of instrument trays/sets across service lines.Execution of sterilization processes and monitoring.Maintenance of sterile storage and distribution.Coordination of OR liaison duties and instrument tracking.Floating between multiple reprocessing sites as required.Compliance / NotesFlu vaccine is required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine is not required. Two professional references are required, with at least one being a manager or director. Candidates must complete fingerprinting immediately after booking. No candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the care site are eligible.
