Instrumentation Coordinator – Sterile Processing

Schedule

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Monday–Friday; occasional scheduled holidays.

Assignment Details

Full-time position with a 40-hour orientation period.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years sterile processing/reprocessing experience.
• Trauma experience: Trauma Level II required; Trauma Level I preferred.
• Required certification: CRCST or CSPDT.
• Experience with sterilization processes, including STERRAD and steam sterilization; HLD and scope reprocessing; and automated systems.
• Preferred experience with Epic for charting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, and sterile storage.
• Act as a liaison between the operating room and sterile processing department.
• Standardize instrument trays and monitor enterprise-wide tracking of instrumentation.
• Ensure compliance with sterilization monitoring and testing protocols.
• Assist with high-level disinfection and the use of automated endoscope reprocessors.
