About The Role We are seeking a General Labor, Bakery- Production to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a General Labor, Bakery- Production , you will be accountable for supporting bakery production operations by ensuring dough and baked products are shaped, scored, monitored, and processed according to product specifications. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality, food safety, production efficiency, and sanitation standards throughout the manufacturing process. Shift & Schedule Shift: 3rd Schedule: 10 pm- 6:30 am Weekend availability: Required Compensation Hourly pay rate: $18 Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing) Monitor product flow and processing to ensure products meet quality and specification requirements. Operate and support bakery production systems, including proofing, scoring, oven, cooling, and packing processes. Verify production parameters, recipes, and product standards throughout the manufacturing cycle. Inspect products and production equipment to identify issues and communicate concerns to line leadership. Maintain accurate production records and complete required quality checks. Support continuous improvement initiatives through participation in problem-solving and operational excellence activities. Maintain compliance with GMP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring To The Table) High School Diploma or GED. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Demonstrated problem-solving and reasoning abilities. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, and reaching. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely around moving production equipment. Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients For Success) Prior experience in a fast-paced production, manufacturing, bakery, or packaging environment. Experience working within food manufacturing or GMP-regulated environments. Familiarity with quality inspections and product specification monitoring. Experience operating or working around automated production equipment. Understanding of continuous improvement concepts and problem-solving methodologies.
