Job Title: Inventory Coordinator I

Position Summary

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels to support manufacturing and operational requirements. This position receives, stores, issues, replenishes, and monitors spare parts, supplies, equipment, and inventory items while ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with company quality standards. Responsibilities increase in complexity, analytical responsibility, and independence based on the assigned level.

• Level II: Performs all standard inventory control functions with general supervision . Works independently on routine assignments, investigates inventory discrepancies, supports inventory planning activities, and assists in training Level I Inventory Coordinators.

Work Schedule:Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Duties

1. Process inventory transactions to receive, issue, transfer, replenish, and fulfill inventory requests while maintaining system accuracy.

2. Receive, inspect, verify, and properly store spare parts, supplies, equipment, and inventory items according to established procedures.

3. Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliations to maintain accurate inventory records.

4. Monitor inventory levels, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile actual inventory to system quantities.

5. Process inventory replenishment requests and create purchasing requisitions to maintain established inventory levels.

6. Break down, repackage, label, and organize inventory materials while maintaining lot traceability and inventory control requirements.

7. Maintain accurate inventory documentation and ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, company policies, and inventory control procedures.

8. Communicate inventory shortages, discrepancies, and replenishment needs to Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing, and Operations personnel.

9. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, material flow, storage, and inventory processes.

10. Train and provide guidance to less experienced Inventory Coordinators as proficiency increases.

11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of inventory control, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or material planning experience with demonstrated proficiency in inventory transactions and cycle counting.
• OSHA Certified Forklift Operator
