Role

Lead the Inventory Product, Data & Ops function responsible for ensuring inventory products (listings) behave as expected across MLS, the agent platform, brand websites, and portals. Own day-to-day QA, validation, documentation, tracking, and the operational engine that supports national-scale listing distribution. Drive an AI-first rebuild of processes and automations so routine work is owned by systems and exceptions are human-reviewed.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute QA testing and quality validation (including secret shopping) for inventory products across MLS, agent platform, brand websites, and portals.
• Build and maintain standard testing practices: test plans, scenario libraries, pass/fail criteria, defect severity levels, and readout templates.
• Coordinate and manage offshore testing/vendor teams: scope work, write test instructions, set expectations, and review output.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to map scenarios and edge cases from requirements and design tests pre-launch.
• Synthesize test results, prioritize defects by business impact, track defects to resolution, and confirm fixes via regression testing.
• Apply AI to testing: generate scenario coverage, automate repeatable checks, and automate secret shopping where appropriate.
• Own documentation and trackers: test plans, results, defects, SOPs, automations, decisions, and cross-functional commitments.
• Prototype, stress test, harden, and deploy AI automations into production with monitoring, accuracy checks, error handling, and escalation paths.
• Measure automation impact (hours saved, error rates, turnaround time) and build governance with Legal/Compliance/Privacy/Security.
• Partner with Data & Analytics to define and validate reporting, trace discrepancies, and prepare defensible inventory metrics.
• Support operations and escalations from agents and sales leaders: reproduce issues, gather evidence, propose root causes, and follow through to resolution.
• Drive change management for transitioning manual workflows to automated ones, including training and adoption tracking.

Requirements

• 4+ years in product operations, technical/business operations, QA, strategy & operations, or similar roles in technology-driven environments.
• Hybrid business/technical skillset: able to explain product impacts to business leaders and reproduce issues for engineers.
• Hands-on experience vibe coding, stress testing, and deploying AI automations used in production (examples required).
• Experience with LLM APIs, agentic workflows, workflow platforms (e.g., n8n, Zapier, Make, Workato) or Python scripting is preferred.
• Experience designing and running structured QA/UAT programs: test plans, scenario coverage, defect tracking, and readouts.
• Familiarity with product workflows, reading PRDs/specs, conceptual understanding of APIs and data feeds, and working in Jira or similar tools.
• Experience directing offshore/vendor teams and maintaining a quality bar.
• Strong data skills: SQL, advanced spreadsheets, and a BI tool such as Looker or Tableau.
• Systems thinker who documents while building and designs for failure cases; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Sound judgment handling sensitive/regulatory data and experience partnering with Legal/Compliance when needed.
• Real estate brokerage, MLS, listing syndication, or proptech experience is a plus; familiarity with listing data standards (e.g., RESO, IDX) is a plus.
• Base pay range: $142,200 - $158,000 annually (base pay may vary by location and experience). Bonuses and restricted stock units may be part of the package.
