Phlebotomist
$17.75 - $21 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for per diem work at its Albany, New York location. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing patient information, and providing customer service across flexible weekday and weekend hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for diverse age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient data and maintain specimen information logs accurately
- Prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
- Process billing information, collect payments, and provide customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum three months phlebotomy experience or current certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation for potential multi-site assignments
Compensation: $17.75 - $21.00 per hour
