Industrial Engineer
As an Industrial Engineer at OnLogic, you will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing and operational processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including production, supply chain, and quality to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements that support our mission of delivering robust industrial computing solutions to customers worldwide.
You will analyze workflow, design efficient systems, and develop solutions that streamline production while maintaining the highest standards of product reliability. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence. This is a full-time, onsite role based at our Headquarters in South Burlington, VT.
In This Role, You'll Be Responsible For:
- Designing, evaluating, and optimizing lean manufacturing layouts and assembly workflows to support fluctuating production demands for configurable computer hardware.
- Driving the integration of new technologies, automation, and AI into manufacturing processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborating with production and quality teams to establish and maintain best practices and standardized work procedures.
- Supporting capacity planning and layout design to optimize facility utilization.
- Introducing automation, fixture designs, or specialized tooling to eliminate waste, improve ergonomic safety, and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.
- Utilizing AI-driven and data-driven approaches to monitor performance metrics, analyze production data (takt times, error rates, and bottlenecks), and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor while sustaining gains in global operational excellence.
The Team You Will Be Joining:
Our Operational Excellence team is responsible for driving efficiencies and effectiveness across all functions of our global organization. This is accomplished by leveraging automation and a multitude of other improvement processes. Always living up the way we work through innovation and process optimization, these team members work closely with all departments in identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to sustain gains in operational excellence.
