Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina or compact state
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Stepdown or PCU environments
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical assessment, monitoring, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to Stepdown and PCU patients, monitoring complex conditions and responding effectively to changes
• Collaborate with providers, patients, and families to develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to protocols
• Document care accurately in electronic medical records
• Provide education and emotional support to patients as they transition to higher or lower levels of care
